The Cumbrian Challenge is a gruelling mountain race that involves over 20km of hiking across some of the most challenging terrain in the Lake District, against hundreds of competitors and in the company of wounded service personnel.
Four members of the Calcifert team (otherwise known as 'The Limestone Trailers') are taking part in this years event; setting off as a team from Grasmere in the early hours on Saturday 16th May to tackle the mountains and raise plenty of money for the charity Walking With The Wounded.
Walking With The Wounded aims to raise enough funds from the event to help over 200 wounded veterans (one for each team that competes in Cumbria) back into employment, as well as raising public awareness of the issues that many wounded service men and women face when trying to find new jobs.
To play your part in helping with this fantastic charity and show your support for The Limestone Trailers please visit their fundraising webpage and give what you can.
